ABOUT EVENT

The AVT Champions Tour promotes competitive golf among senior golfers in India; started in March 2019 and since then has become an important new feature of the Indian golf calendar. Each event since inception has seen broad based nationwide participation with 80% of participants at each event travelling from across India.

The Competition is played over 36 holes Strokeplay in five age categories.

  • May 29th Practice Round
  • May 30th Round 1
  • May 31st Round 2

    • Entry Fee : INR 10,000/-

    Inclusions

  • One practice round & 2 tournament rounds with lunch on both tournament days, Taxes.
  • If the maximum number of entries received by the cut-off date of April 30th exceeds the spots available, preference will be given to lower handicap golfers.
  • Others will be refunded their entry fee. Players will receive an e mail and WhatsApp on May 2nd confirming their status.
  • Post April 30th if the maximum entries have not been received, entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

  • Age 50-69: Max H'cap 12
  • Age 70+: Max H'cap 14

    • Ladies

  • Age 50-64: Max H'cap 16
  • Age 65+: Max H'cap 18

    Overall 36 holes Gross Winner & Runner-up
    Individual Age Groups Gross Winner & Runner-up in 5 age categories

  • 60 – 64
  • 65 – 69
  • 70 & Above
  • Ladies Category

    • Nett Prizes:

  • Winner & Runner-up Individual Net in Two handicap categories (no age groups)

    • Team Prizes:

  • 4 member City Team Competition Gross - Winner & Runner-up
  • 4 member City Team Competition Net - Winner & Runner-up

  • In case the maximum number of entries is exceeded, preference will be given on the basis of lower handicaps.
  • The Tournament Committee’s decision will be final in deciding eligibility for participation and acceptance of Handicaps.
  • Handicaps from clubs who do not follow the WHS system will not be recognised
