The AVT Champions tour is a first of its kind initiative to promote competitive golf among senior golfers in India started in March 2019 and since then has grown in popularity. The AVT Champions Tour is a step forward in building a robust tour for senior golfers in India. The event from its inception has seen broad based participation from all across India and four legs were held in the first season at Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune and Kolkata.

The AVT Champions Tour receives up to 80% of its participants from out of station in an overwhelming response from senior golfers from all over India.

Competition is played over 36 holes Strokeplay in the five age categories mentioned below.
