Western India Oxford Masters
A Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) sanctioned 72-hole golf tournament along with a Pro-Am at the fantastic Oxford Golf Resorts in Pune, the objective of the “Western India Oxford Masters” is to promote golf and inspire future golfers from Western India to compete at the international level.
Indian golfers such as Jyoti Randhawa, Jeev Milkha Singh, Arjun Atwal, Anirban Lahiri, Gaganjeet Bhullar and Aditi Ashok have already made their mark on the global stage and, for the first time in Indian professional golf, the Oxford Masters gives young, budding golfers the unforgettable experience of walking with professionals to gain valuable insight in to what a Pro goes through in the sport. The kids also act as the official scorers of the pros during the final round.
The top amateur golfer of the tournament is felicitated by Western India’s greatest ever golfer, and former President of the IGU, RK Pitamber – in whose honour the trophy is named.
